“In the present world of “global village”, multicultural and multinational collaboration in scientific endeavors is as important as resourcefulness to perform research. A collaboration of this kind not only provides a different outlook when addressing a research problem but also provides a better perspective in understanding the real problems facing us – the humans and the world we inhabit. Historically, nuclear physics, astronomy and medicine are the areas that have benefited from this kind of collaboration, Research areas as complex as Neuroscience need this multinational collaboration.  While infrastructure necessary for top-notch research are abundant and well-established in certain part of the world, resources such as manpower can be accessed at a much lower cost in other parts. Science is beyond any religion, ethnicity, race or any other bias. Science can bring not only cultures and nations together but can also bring peace in this world. Pioneering initiatives like “Science Bridge” are, therefore, very promising.  This will not only boost research in Neuroscience but also do a lot to bring the world together.”
